WispBorne is a top-down, 2d Roguelike/Roguelite where you are not the main character! You play as the wisp familiar of a wizard who is being hunted down for fleeing an organization he used to be apart of. And now in order to keep him and yourself safe, you must fight the hordes of monsters that are hunting him down. Or die trying.
Channel Mana to Your Will
As you deal damage to enemies, you pull energy from them in the form of mana. This mana can be used to do powerful magical blasts or to even upgrade yourself.
Use Powerful Abilities
In WispBorne, due to being a being of pure mana, you can augment yourself with many different abilities and upgrades at the cost of spending mana you gather.
These abilities consist of making more copies of yourself, causing your attacks to be inflicted with flaming power, increasing the speed you fly at, to even gambling that replaces your ultimate magic blast!
There are many different abilities to choose from for you to mix and match.

Just played Easy and medium so i wanna write a review detailing what i think of each aspect of the game
THE GAMEPLAY: The idea of you being the projectile is a fun idea but it feels a bit janky. In the game you have to constantly go in and out an enemy to do damage which just feels weird and button mashy.
ABILITES AND SHOP: Main problems are that the shop dont give an explanation of what the abilites do, let alone give a short summary hinting at what it does, nor does it give you the price of the item. The abilites are also super spammy and winning is a cakewalk, the mitosis ability is enough to win alone.
SPRITES AND MUSIC: Not much to complain tbh overall pretty good. Though some sprites dont fit with others which is a bit messy. OST is decent it just needs more tracks.
BOSSES AND ENEMIES: There are too many different kinds of enemies for each level, many not even fitting a theme of the level, most are simple but work good. However like i mentioned with the abilites being spammy, bosses are a complete joke. Easily beatable.
This game can definatly be improved, overall i would give it a 5 or 6/10 its got decent bones but can be improved A LOT
